This Annual Bowl-a-thon was created by Gary Ziegelbauer (former board president – current board member) and Triangle Distributing. The event typically takes place the first Saturday in November – this year Saturday, November 2,2024. The event has the capacity to host 60 teams made up of 4-6 bowlers each. The greatest amount of revenue generated from the event is through sponsorships & bowler pledges. 

Bowlers are encouraged to collect pledges and $100 is the suggested minimum of pledges needed to participate in the event. Each bowler receives a packet which includes a Pledge Sheet to record the pledges they are collecting. Though we prefer that pledges are pre-paid there typically remains the need to invoice donors following the event.

The Bowl-a-thon is also sponsored by a number of local organizations and corporations including the Vietnam Veterans of America, Schreiber, Green Bay Packaging, Schneider, Graymont, Green Bay Packers and McDonald Companies.

Though a minimum of $100 in pledges may seem high…. the benefits each bowler receives are more than worth it. Each bowler receives:
-A delicious dinner. There are also free drinks to enjoy during your dinner courtesy of Triangle Distributing.  The celebration party after features high level prizes to the top 10 pledge raisers!
